Your block lists, focus sessions, statistics and lock configurations stay on your Mac; they are never uploaded. To buy FocusDragon Pro or an AI Focus plan you create an account; we then store your email, display name, optional age range and your plan. If you use AI Focus, then only while a block you started is running, a screenshot of your screen is sent every 10 to 20 seconds (less often once your monthly allowance is used up), with your goal and the name, window title and web address of what is in front, through our server to our AI model provider, OpenAI, to be judged. Our server never stores or logs those screenshots, and they are never used to train any model. The two screenshots behind each thing AI Focus closes stay on your Mac for 7 days. Outside AI Focus, nothing about what you block, when you focus or what is on your screen is sent anywhere. You can export or delete everything we hold about you at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing hi@focusdragon.app.
Lorsque tu te connectes (OAuth Google ou Apple, via notre partenaire d'authentification), nous stockons ton adresse e-mail, ton nom d'affichage et une tranche d'âge optionnelle que tu choisis lors de l'onboarding. Ces données sont conservées dans notre projet notre partenaire d'authentification hébergé dans l'UE (Francfort, ). Elles servent uniquement à : (1) t'identifier d'un appareil à l'autre, (2) rattacher ton entitlement d'abonnement à une identité stable et (3) personnaliser le bonjour dans l'appli. Les jetons d'auth (refresh tokens) restent sur ton Mac dans le Keychain macOS ; un cookie de session notre partenaire d'authentification HTTP-only est posé sur le site quand tu t'y connectes pour finaliser le paiement.
If you buy FocusDragon Pro, payment is handled entirely by our payments partner. They collect and store your card number, billing address, and any other payment-method information directly. We never see your card number. We store only: a customer ID linking your account to your billing record, and your entitlement. Receipts and chargeback records are retained by our payments partner for 7 years to satisfy accounting law (we cannot delete them earlier even on request).
Every block list, every lock configuration, every focus-session log, every minute of statistics and the blocks you've created are stored in macOS Application Support and never leave your computer. AI Focus also keeps these on your Mac only: its log of each thing it closed, with the two screenshots behind that decision, your goal and the reason, for 7 days and then deleted; the list of tabs you had open during a block, so they can be offered back after a cooldown, kept until they are restored or for 24 hours; and the goal and lists for the block that is running, until it ends. Every other AI Focus screenshot is discarded once it has been judged and is never written to disk. The only thing that leaves your Mac is what AI Focus sends while a block you started is running, described in the AI Focus section below.
The Chrome / Safari / Firefox extensions read only the URL of pages you visit and match them against your block list. No page body text, no DOM, no cookies, no form contents — just the URL string. The extension communicates with the local FocusDragon app on your Mac via the browser's native-messaging channel; nothing it reads is sent to our servers.
notre partenaire d'hébergement (notre hébergeur) conserve des logs HTTP standards pour le serveur de FocusDragon et focusdragon.app pendant 30 jours maximum. Ils contiennent l'horodatage, l'adresse IP, le chemin de la requête, le code de réponse et l'user-agent — utilisés pour le debug et la prévention des abus. Ils ne sont pas rattachés à ton compte ni utilisés pour te profiler.
focusdragon.app sets these first-party cookies: a Secure session cookie when you sign in (readable by the site's own code so you stay signed in, therefore not HTTP-only), a short-lived HTTP-only `fd_post_auth_redirect` cookie that remembers where to send you after sign-in, and `fd_landed_at`, which records when you first arrived. The site also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and referrers; it sets its own `_ga` cookies and receives your IP address (which Google truncates), page URL, referrer and coarse device information. It runs only on focusdragon.app — never on preview deployments — and we do not send it your email, name, account ID, or anything you type into a form. We also use the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. It sets Meta's `_fbp` cookie, and when you arrive from one of our ads we store the ad's click ID in a first-party `_fbc` cookie and the campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) in a first-party `fd_utm` cookie, each for 90 days. The Pixel sends Meta the pages you view, when you start a checkout, and when a purchase or trial completes, with your IP address and browser details. When a purchase or trial completes, our server also tells Meta about it directly, with the amount, your email address in hashed (SHA-256) form, the click ID and those browser details, so Meta can match it to the ad; we never send Meta your name, your card details, or anything about what you block or focus on. Both run only on focusdragon.app. You can block them with any content blocker or your browser's tracking-protection setting, and the site works identically without them.
Dans l'appli Mac, tu peux opter pour des analytics produit anonymes (notre partenaire d'analyse optionnel). C'est désactivé par défaut. Si tu actives, nous recevons des noms d'événements agrégés et non identifiants (« un blocage a démarré », « un verdict IA est renvoyé ») sans contenu de blocage, sans noms d'applis, sans URLs, sans texte de page et sans PII. Tu peux désactiver depuis Réglages → Général → Confidentialité à tout moment ; les événements existants ne sont pas rétroactivement supprimés mais les nouveaux événements s'arrêtent.
Si FocusDragon plante, une stack trace est envoyée à notre partenaire de surveillance des erreurs, tout contexte personnel retiré (aucune donnée de blocage, aucun chemin de fichier au-delà du bundle, aucun presse-papiers, aucun environnement). Tu peux désactiver les rapports de crash dans Réglages → Général → Confidentialité. Les rapports de crash nous aident à corriger des bugs qui affecteraient autrement silencieusement les utilisateurs.
We use the following providers, each performing the role described: our authentication partner (auth + accounts + entitlements DB; EU-hosted infrastructure); our payments partner (billing, including the card saved for the AI Focus free trial; US/EU); OpenAI (AI Focus only: judges screenshots and their details during blocks you start, never used for training); our hosting partner (hosting; servers in the US and the EU, with AI Focus requests processed in Frankfurt, Germany); our error-monitoring partner (crash reports; EU-hosted infrastructure); our optional analytics partner (optional analytics; EU-hosted infrastructure); Meta Platforms (advertising measurement on the website: the Meta Pixel, plus purchase and trial events sent from our server with a hashed email address; US/Ireland). Where data is transferred outside the EEA we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Si tu es dans l'UE, au Royaume-Uni ou en Californie, tu as le droit d'accéder, de corriger ou de supprimer les données personnelles que nous détenons à ton sujet, et d'en recevoir un export dans un format lisible par machine. Pour exercer l'un de ces droits, écris-nous à focusdragon.app/contact. Nous répondons sous 30 jours. La suppression du compte est aussi en libre-service : Réglages → Compte → Supprimer le compte supprime définitivement ta ligne notre partenaire d'authentification, ton abonnement et tous tes entitlements. Les enregistrements notre partenaire de paiement des paiements passés sont conservés tel que requis par la loi comptable (généralement 7 ans).
FocusDragon ne s'adresse pas aux enfants de moins de 13 ans. Nous ne collectons pas sciemment de données personnelles d'enfants de moins de 13 ans. Les utilisateurs européens de moins de 16 ans doivent disposer du consentement parental. Si nous apprenons que nous avons collecté par inadvertance des données d'un mineur, nous les supprimons.
Lorsque nous modifions cette politique de façon importante, nous mettons à jour la date « dernière mise à jour » en haut, listons le changement dans le changelog intégré à l'appli et — pour les changements qui élargissent ce que nous collectons — affichons une notification dans l'appli à sa prochaine ouverture. L'usage continu après cette notification vaut acceptation.

AI Focus watches your screen only while a block you started is running. Every 10 to 20 seconds (less often once your plan's monthly allowance is used up) it takes a downscaled screenshot of your whole screen, every display if you have more than one, and sends it through FocusDragon's own server, which never stores or logs it. Each screenshot goes with your goal, the name of the app in front, its window title and, in a browser, the page's address.
The screenshot and its details are then judged by our AI model provider, OpenAI. The answer is a yes or no on whether you look distracted from your goal, with a short reason. Nothing you send is used to train any model. We have asked OpenAI for zero data retention; until that is in place, OpenAI may keep requests for up to 30 days solely to detect abuse, then deletes them. FocusDragon uses one AI model provider at a time and never sends your screenshots to another provider automatically.
Because AI Focus judges whatever is on screen, that can include other people's messages, emails and video calls. AI Focus never takes a screenshot while a password field is focused.
Each time AI Focus quits something, it keeps the two screenshots behind that decision on your own Mac for 7 days, so you can see why, then deletes them. That log never leaves your Mac.
When AI Focus closes something, the card that explains it has a “Wrongly judged? Tell us” button. If you use it, we receive only what the card shows: your goal, the reason AI Focus gave, the app, the page title and address, the AI model and prompt version that made the call, any note you add and the time of the call, with your account and the time you sent it. A report never includes a screenshot. We use reports only to find and fix wrong calls, and each one is deleted automatically after 90 days, or sooner if you delete your account.
To run your monthly allowance we record, for each day, how many AI Focus checks you made and what they cost us. We count the checks in your free hour, and if you start the AI Focus free trial we keep a record of it (the plan you chose, when it ends, and whether it was cancelled or charged) so each account gets one free hour. These records are numbers and dates only; they never include a screenshot or anything else that was on screen.
AI Focus is for people 18 and over. This is a declared limit; we do not ask for or verify your age.
