Your block lists, focus sessions, statistics, and lock configurations stay on your Mac — they are never uploaded. To buy FocusDragon Pro you create an account; we then store your email, display name, optional age range, and your entitlement state. Nothing about what you block, when you focus, or what is on your screen is sent anywhere. You can export or delete everything we hold about you at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing hi@focusdragon.app.
Wanneer je inlogt (Google- of Apple-OAuth via onze authenticatiepartner), slaan we je e-mailadres, weergavenaam en een optionele leeftijdscategorie op die je tijdens onboarding kiest. Dit staat in ons onze authenticatiepartner-project in de EU (in de EU gehoste infrastructuur, Duitsland). Het wordt enkel gebruikt om: (1) je over apparaten te identificeren, (2) je abonnement aan een stabiele identiteit te koppelen en (3) de begroeting in de app te personaliseren. Auth-tokens (refresh-tokens) staan op je Mac in macOS Keychain; bij inloggen op de website wordt een HTTP-only onze authenticatiepartner-sessiecookie geplaatst zodat de checkout/portal-flow werkt.
If you buy FocusDragon Pro, payment is handled entirely by our payments partner. They collect and store your card number, billing address, and any other payment-method information directly. We never see your card number. We store only: a customer ID linking your account to your billing record, and your entitlement. Receipts and chargeback records are retained by our payments partner for 7 years to satisfy accounting law (we cannot delete them earlier even on request).
Every block list, every lock configuration, every focus-session log, every minute of statistics, the blocks you've created — all of this is stored in macOS Application Support and never leaves your computer. There is no exception: nothing about your screen, your browsing, or your focus sessions is sent to us or to anyone else.
The Chrome / Safari / Firefox extensions read only the URL of pages you visit and match them against your block list. No page body text, no DOM, no cookies, no form contents — just the URL string. The extension communicates with the local FocusDragon app on your Mac via the browser's native-messaging channel; nothing it reads is sent to our servers.
onze hostingpartner (onze hostingprovider) bewaart standaard HTTP-toegangslogs voor de server van FocusDragon en focusdragon.app tot 30 dagen. Die bevatten timestamp, IP-adres, request-pad, response-code en user-agent — voor debugging en misbruikpreventie. Ze worden niet aan je account gekoppeld of gebruikt om je te profileren.
focusdragon.app sets three first-party cookies: a Secure session cookie when you sign in (readable by the site's own code so you stay signed in, therefore not HTTP-only), a short-lived HTTP-only `fd_post_auth_redirect` cookie that remembers where to send you after sign-in, and `fd_landed_at`, which records when you first arrived. The site also uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and referrers; it sets its own `_ga` cookies and receives your IP address (which Google truncates), page URL, referrer and coarse device information. It runs only on focusdragon.app — never on preview deployments — and we do not send it your email, name, account ID, or anything you type into a form. There are no advertising pixels, no marketing cookies, and no cross-site ad tracking. You can block it with any content blocker or your browser's Do Not Track / tracking-protection setting, and the site works identically without it.
In de Mac-app kun je opt-in op anonieme product-analytics (onze optionele analytics-partner). Standaard UIT. Als je het aanzet, ontvangen we geaggregeerde, niet-identificerende event-namen („een blok gestart", „AI-oordeel teruggekomen") zonder blok-inhoud, app-namen, URL's, paginatekst of PII. Je kunt het op elk moment uitzetten via Instellingen → Algemeen → Privacy; bestaande events worden niet met terugwerkende kracht verwijderd, maar nieuwe events stoppen.
Als FocusDragon crasht, gaat een stack-trace naar onze foutmonitoringpartner met alle persoonlijke context verwijderd (geen blok-data, geen filepaden buiten de bundle, geen klembord, geen omgeving). Je kunt crash-rapportage uitzetten via Instellingen → Algemeen → Privacy. Crash-rapporten helpen ons bugs op te lossen die anders gebruikers stilletjes zouden raken.
We use the following providers, each performing the role described: our authentication partner (auth + accounts + entitlements DB; EU-hosted infrastructure), our payments partner (billing; US/EU); our hosting partner (hosting; EU-hosted infrastructure); our error-monitoring partner (crash reports; EU-hosted infrastructure); our optional analytics partner (optional analytics; EU-hosted infrastructure). Where data is transferred outside the EEA we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Als je in de EU, het VK of Californië bent, heb je het recht op inzage, correctie of verwijdering van persoonsgegevens die we over je hebben, en op een export in een machine-leesbaar formaat. Mail focusdragon.app/contact om een van deze rechten uit te oefenen. We reageren binnen 30 dagen. Account-verwijdering is ook self-serve: Instellingen → Account → Verwijder account verwijdert permanent je onze authenticatiepartner-rij, je abonnement en alle entitlements. onze betalingspartner-records van eerdere betalingen worden bewaard zoals de boekhoudwet vereist (doorgaans 7 jaar).
FocusDragon is niet gericht op kinderen jonger dan 13. We verzamelen niet bewust persoonsgegevens van iemand jonger dan 13. EU-gebruikers jonger dan 16 hebben ouderlijke toestemming nodig. Komen we erachter dat we onbedoeld gegevens van een minderjarige hebben verzameld, dan verwijderen we die.
Bij materiële wijzigingen aan dit beleid werken we de datum „Laatst bijgewerkt" bovenaan bij, zetten we de wijziging in de in-app changelog en — voor wijzigingen die uitbreiden wat we verzamelen — tonen we de eerstvolgende keer dat je de app opent een melding. Voortzetting van gebruik na die melding geldt als acceptatie.
