Founder bio

Anay Goenka — solo founder.

Anay Goenka is an indie developer based in Dubai, UAE. He built FocusDragon to solve his own problem: every focus app he tried was too easy to bypass the moment his future self regretted the rules.

He writes the code, ships the product, and answers every press email himself. FocusDragon is funded entirely by its own revenue — no investors, no advertising, no growth hacks. The design brief is simple: build a lock that survives the moment you most want to break it.

Founding story

How FocusDragon started.

FocusDragon started when Anay lost a weekend to gaming during what was supposed to be a study session. Every blocker he tried let him uninstall it in 30 seconds.

He built FocusDragon's lock layer over a long weekend, made the blocks survive uninstalls, then spent the next year polishing the AI focus protection on top.

The bet: most focus apps are designed to be turned off by the same person who turned them on. FocusDragon is designed for the version of you who set the rules — not the version trying to break them.
