What stays on your Mac
Block lists, lock configurations, focus session history and statistics: all local, never uploaded. So is the AI Focus log, which keeps the two screenshots behind each thing AI Focus closed for 7 days.
What we store server-side
- Account data (email, display name, age range) on EU-hosted infrastructure managed by our authentication partner.
- Subscription status (tier, expiry, payment customer ID) — card details are handled entirely by our payment partner; we never see your card number.
- AI Focus usage: how many checks you made each day and what they cost, used for your monthly allowance. Never anything that was on screen.
- "Wrongly judged? Tell us" reports, only if you send one. Never a screenshot. Deleted after 90 days.
Optional / off-device
- AI Focus screenshots, only during a block you start: they pass through our server, which never stores them, to our AI model provider, which judges them under zero data retention and never trains on them. Details: focusdragon.app/docs/ai-focus-privacy
- Crash reports — stack traces with no personal data, handled by our EU-based error-monitoring partner. Disable in Settings → General → Privacy.
- Anonymous product analytics — opt-in, off by default, handled by our EU-based analytics partner. Aggregate events only, no PII.
