The AI reads a short text snippet (up to 1,200 characters) from the active tab or window every 30 seconds. It does NOT take screenshots, record your screen, or capture images.
What's excluded (hard-coded, can't be overridden)
- Banking, payments, and brokerage sites
- Email providers
- Identity / authentication / password manager sites
- Healthcare sites
- Incognito / private browsing tabs (all browsers)
On excluded sites, only the URL and tab title flow — never body text. The exclusion list is baked into the browser extension; you can't accidentally turn it off.
If you're on a paid plan, snippets pass through our server (api.focusdragon.app) on the way to Anthropic. We do not log, store, or train on them. If you use BYOK, snippets go directly from your Mac to Anthropic — our servers see nothing.
