- Background Service (Login Item) — keeps blocks enforced even when the app window is closed.
- Full Disk Access — lets the background service modify /etc/hosts to block domains system-wide.
- Browser Extension (Safari / Chrome): blocks sites inside the browser, and during an AI Focus block keeps track of your open tabs so a distracting one can be closed and the rest offered back.
- Screen Recording (only for AI Focus): lets AI Focus take a screenshot of your screen every 10 to 20 seconds, only during a block you start. An AI Focus block can't start without it.
AI Focus doesn't need Accessibility. Before each block, its checklist shows anything missing (Screen Recording, a connection to FocusDragon's server, the browser extension) with one button to fix each.
