Founder pricing follows your subscription through tier and cadence changes. If you're on AI Focus monthly at the founder rate ($4.99) and upgrade to AI Focus Max yearly, your new plan is the founder rate for that plan ($149/year) — not the standard $179.
How the switch works
- Open the billing portal (Manage subscription from the pricing page or app sidebar).
- Pick the new plan — the portal surfaces founder prices for founder-cohort customers and list prices for everyone else.
- Proration is handled automatically. Your card is charged or credited for the difference.
If the portal UI ever shows you a list price by mistake during a switch, our webhook automatically corrects the subscription to the matching founder price within a few seconds. You don't have to do anything.
The one thing that does NOT preserve your founder rate is cancellation. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, you re-enter the standard checkout flow — see the "Can I claim Founder pricing later?" FAQ for details.
