I paid but the app says I'm still on free

Symptoms

You completed checkout, your bank shows the charge, but FocusDragon still says you're on the free tier. Premium features stay locked.

Likely causes

  • Payment webhook delivery delay — usually fast, occasionally up to a few minutes.
  • The email on the payment receipt is not the same email you're signed into the app with.
  • The app's cached entitlement hasn't refreshed yet — it re-fetches on launch and on focus.

Step-by-step fix

  • 1. Wait one minute, then quit and relaunch FocusDragon. The entitlement is refreshed from our server on launch.
  • 2. Open Settings → Account. Confirm the email displayed there matches the email on your payment receipt exactly.
  • 3. If the emails differ, that's the issue — checkout charged a different account than the one signed in. Either sign in with the matching email, or email support to merge.
  • 4. If still not appearing 5 minutes after payment, contact support with the payment receipt attached.
Entitlements live on our server and are checked at app launch and every focus event. There is no nightly batch — the lag is purely the payment webhook.
